1. Eggs — now pasteurized. The base below reads "Pasteurized Whole Eggs." Match the exact wording on the carton you actually buy — if it says "Pasteurized Liquid Whole Egg" or "Pasteurized Egg Product," use that instead. The label has to name what is really in the tub, and this is the line an inspector will check first.
2. Name the real thing, not the brand. A label needs the common name of what's inside. Write what the supplier's own package lists, and if a cookie or candy piece has its own ingredient list, copy that list into the box in parentheses. If you don't have the supplier's spec sheet yet, say so in the notes and leave it — an honest blank beats a guess.
